SAARC Summit Concluded Next To Be Held In Pakistan

saarc summit kathmandu nepalThe 18th SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) Summit has formally concluded in Kathmandu on Thursday evening releasing it's 36-point Kathmandu Declaration Letter.
Ministers of the SAARC states have signed the agreements on energy cooperation in the region although it has failed to reach in an agreement on the road and railway networks that would connect all the SAARC nations. The closing session had began at 4 pm yesterday after SAARC nation heads were back from retreat at Dhulikhel. Speaking at the Session SAARC Chairperson and Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has announced that next SAARC Summit will be held in Islamabad Pakistan after 2 years.
During the closing session Indian PM Narendra Modi and Pakistani PM Nawaz Sarif had shaken hands which was closely watched by all the nations as these two nation are going through tensions for years because of border issues. Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has been appreciated  for hosting successful SAARC Summit in Nepal. Kathmandu has seen it's new cleaner and peaceful looks during the week of SAARC Summit.
